Why do I want to work with Growth School?
Want to work with a close knit team at an early stage product-based start up.
I've always been a part of early stage starups and I've loved the diversity and knowledge it brings.

Want a design team & mentor (lead) to work with and learn from.
Being a hustler & self-taught designer, I was always the only designer (sometimes 2 with a bit of luck) at all of my organizations. Working with more designers and a lead like sidharth will get me vision and growth like no where else.

Growth School is a part of the reason why I am here
I was part of the first batch of UX design bootcamp and it helped me deliver excellent results in my current and previous workplace (and got me awesome client feedback and salary hikes as well). I want to enable others to do the same in their respective careers.

Be an early member and get involved in user-centered product design
User research based design culture is something I've been trying to foster wherever I go, but with little luck. Business constraints have always hindered it, but with strong design leadership at growthschool, I think I can be a part of a product that puts user at the center. Any user centered product transforms, evolves and grows with the user and I hope I can see it first hand with Growth School.

How do I work?
This is how I go from ambiguity to clarity to solution.
Understand business and user's goals, problems, constraints and empathize.
Understand the intersection of business goals and user problems
Sketch, iterate and develop a comprehensive solution that satisfies both sides
Solicit feedback (business & user's) on solutions and improvise for the better
Complete and deliver to the dev. Learn, un-learn, re-learn, improve & repeat.
P.S. I ask a lot of questions, take a detailed view and systems view before arriving at a solution.

In their actual words...
Experiences shared by people who have previously worked with me.
Having worked with a lot of designers in my career, finding Siva felt like hitting a jackpot.
He is a bundle of creativity, design knowledge, and commitment wrapped up in a package. His intellectual curiosity in understanding the real need of the client and his dedication on getting it delivered to perfection on time impresses me all the time.
- Sumanth Kumar
Serial Entreprenuer, Co-Founder of Buyofuel.

Siva is an "enthu-bot"! I love working with him due to the thought process he brings to the table.
Nothing is shared for the sake of it. Everything is well-thought-out and each element is carefully positioned to meet the needs of the brief, and always accompanied by a detailed note with reason. After almost a year of collaboration, I have moved into the territory of confidently saying, "Siva will handle it" which lets me better at what I do! Thanks, Siva.
- Tribin Roy
Product Marketer, Zoho Creator.

[Siva] is a very hardworking and sincere person who is always buckled up for taking responsibilities.
Design is in Siva's DNA. His pursuits for perfection and fine balance of time management always puts him in the team's spotlight.
He is a constant learner, an ardent creative and also a cheerful explorer. His every deliverable is a flagship of its kind. A genuine human who is open to share knowledge and win hearts with utmost commitment and dedication to work & people.

Do you know?
Obviously, you wouldn't. I'm not that famous. But here's what I'm proud of achieving so far
I've directly handled and worked with 50+ clients from 3 continents and 100+ small and big projects in my career and that has helped me gain lot of experience on how businesses work and how to collaborate effectively.
50+ Clients

I've worked on 10+ products and 10+ MVP/PoC products. Out of those, two have been deployed & currently undergoing deployment in MNCs.
2 Enterprise Apps

Budding/occasional designers often overlook functionality for aesthetics. Wherever I worked I've tried to foster a good design culture. I've mentored team members who were interested in design and helped them get better.

Questions generally asked to me
1. What is my education? Where am I from?
I physically existed (mentally in designverse) in the 2016 to 2020 bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering program of Sri Krishna College of Technology, located in my Home Sweet Home Coimbatore. I have no formal education in HCI or any related fields
2. What are my hobbies?
When I'm not looking at my computer, I'm either listening to music or chilling with netflix (or watching Helvetica the movie). I love hanging out with my friends too!
3. Can I make the logo bigger?
Yes. I can also make it pop but please don't tell anyone that I designed this mess.
4. What excites me and keeps me going?
Being a curious person by nature, I love things that intrigue me and make me think. I love science-y things, shiny new tech, interesting business case studies & getting some fresh air. Disconnecting from work & reconnecting with myself during the weekends makes me a better designer in the weekdays. It also helps me not to be grumpy about that 100th change. And like all other designers, being appreciated keeps me going.

My drive for continuous learning helps my employer, my peers and myself to improve.

Strong ability and affinity to collaborate and be a team player.

I'm always up for a chat about that little change in the new feature or the next massive thing in tech

I'd love to share my thoughts on the current experience (as an outsider) and help with what little I know!
Because I know it's hard to read the label from inside the jar!

BONUS (Pun Intended)
I love learning online and from people who inspire me. I built my career through that.
